Intersolar Mexico 2025 has concluded with a remarkable turnout and transformative proposals for the development of the country’s solar industry.

With a strong focus on photovoltaic, solar thermal and energy storage technologies, the event consolidated its role as the key meeting point for the industry, with sector leaders presenting innovations, sharing best practices and exploring comprehensive solutions to accelerate Mexico’s energy transition.

On the exhibition floor, innovation and technology trends took centre stage, with leading national and international companies showcasing innovative solutions for both the Mexican and regional markets.

The program for the Intersolar Mexico International Conference included presentations and panel discussions with 30 prominent industry leaders over the course of three days,  highlights including the participation of Dr. Mariano Birlain, Director General of Technological Development and Energy Access at SENER, as well as sessions on distributed generation 2.0, the key role of solar heat in the energy transition, large-scale solar energy in Mexico, and regulatory advances in electrical energy storage. The program generated significant interest among over 400 delegates, thanks to the quality of its content and its relevance to the current context of the country in the face of imminent changes in public policies.

The sixth edition of the event featured two areas, the Intersolar Stage and the Innovation Forum, offering visitors the opportunity to receive free training through 28 talks and three technical workshops led by exhibitors and partner organizations. The large attendance and interest of attendees underlined the excellent quality of the presentations and the diversity of topics, ranging from contract structuring for the installation of self-consumption in industrial parks, presented by Lilia Alonso, to innovation through international collaboration, presented by Dr. Lucio Mesquita, Director of the International Energy Agency’s Technological Cooperation Program on Solar Heating and Cooling.

The daily program concluded with technical workshops and networking sessions led by prominent figures such as David Contreras, President of CIMEJ, Donata Kohlsdorf from MERM (Mujeres en Energía Renovable México), and Manuel Gómez, Executive Director of AMIF.

Approximately 9,000 visitors attended Intersolar Mexico, the GREEN Expo and Aquatech Mexico, the co-located events consolidating the overall event’s position as Mexico’s largest gathering of professionals in the field of renewable energy and clean technologies, featuring more than 400 national and international companies.

Florian Wessendorf, MD of Solar Promotion International, commented: “We are very satisfied with the results of this edition. The high participation and enthusiasm of attendees reflect the importance of this event in Mexico’s solar energy market.”

Gilberto Sánchez, VP of the National Solar Energy Association (ANES), added: “At this event, it’s not just the big, well-known brands that are present; many new companies with innovative ideas and interesting products are also represented. We think this is great because it enables everyone to learn from each other.”

The next edition of the Intersolar Mexico Exhibition and Conference will take place between September 1–3, 2026, at Mexico City’s Centro Banamex.
