JinkoSolar has donated a 120kWp rooftop PV system to the Centre of Excellence in Electrical Power Technology (CEPT) at Chulalongkorn University for its groundbreaking RE100 (100% renewable energy) project at Gewertz Square. The contribution of 196 Tiger Neo high-efficiency N-type TOPCon modules will power the university’s sustainable transformation while serving as a living laboratory for renewable energy research, supporting Thailand’s net-zero ambitions and creating an integrated clean energy ecosystem on campus.
Daniel Liu, GM at JinkoSolar INP, commented: “JinkoSolar is delighted to support Chulalongkorn University’s visionary decarbonization efforts. Our TOPCon mass production cell efficiency and superior low-light performance, combined with CEPT’s strategic deployment of our SunGiga energy storage solutions, creates a replicable model for sustainable campuses globally. This partnership exemplifies how industry-academia collaboration accelerates the energy transition.”
CEPT executive director Dr. Wijarn Wangdee added: “This partnership with JinkoSolar marks a significant step forward in our mission to integrate renewable energy into both our infrastructure and our academic programs. The advanced TOPCon technology provides our students and researchers with a real-world platform to explore innovative solutions for tomorrow’s power systems. This collaboration not only elevates our operational sustainability but also enriches the educational experience, preparing a new generation of engineers to lead in the clean energy era.”
