JinkoSolar has provided a solution for Africa’s largest rooftop solar project, based on its innovative N-Type TOPCon technology. Located in Ghana’s Tema Free Zone, the project deploys 16.8MWp of its N-Type modules and is forecast to generate an annual 24,750MWh of clean energy while eliminating 13,000 tons of CO2 emissions, marking a significant milestone in the development of renewable energy on the African continent.
Ghana, located in the tropics of West Africa, experiences high temperatures and rainfall throughout the year, with high UV intensity. The low degradation and durability of Jinko modules ensures efficient energy output in extreme environments, while significantly reducing maintenance and replacement costs in long-term operation.
