JinkoSolar is ramping up the deployment of its first tailor made N-type all black module, specifically developed for the residential and business markets. The module has a maximum output of 405 Wp and 21.22% efficiency, and the company expects to announce shortly its availability for widespread roll out.
This is the new iteration of the award-winning JinkoSolar module series, boasting an all-black appearance for superior aesthetics and a 25-year product warranty. Its residential version can deliver up to 405 Wp, while its utility version can deliver up to 480Wp. The extension of its half cut design provides optimized shading behaviour, which is a vital feature for many rooftop installations. Circular instead of flat ribbon increases the utilization of diffused irradiation that results in improved low light performance. It is intended to be less costly in BOS terms and quicker to install. The N type process has been enhanced in this module, now featuring one of the lowest degradation rates in the industry, guaranteeing 1% for the initial year and 0.4% for the remaining 24 years, with the possibility of degradation actually being as low as -0.34%.
