KSTAR has announced the completion of a 600kwp rooftop PV project equipped with its KSG-120CL string inverters at the premises of Lekok Paper in the city of Melaka, the latest in a long line of projects in Malaysia for which the company has supplied string inverters in recent years.
The Malaysian government’s stated target is to increase the country’s renewable energy mix from 2% to 20% by 2025 and KSTAR sees itself as a major player in helping it achieve this goal.
“KSTAR is at the forefront of supporting the country’s decarbonisation. The promotion of renewable energy demonstrates our commitment to contribute to sustainable development in Malaysia. The phasing out of coal generated power in developing countries is a trend in the overall energy transition,” commented KSTAR’s Gavin Guan.
