Runergy has announced that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative — a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices.
CEO Dr. Tao Longzhong explained that participation in the UN Global Compact was testament to the company’s long-term commitment to social responsibility and the promotion of sustainable development, commenting: “As a practitioner in green energy, we will continue to fulfil our corporate social responsibility by innovating on technology and products, extending the use of renewable energy worldwide to benefit the earth we all inhabit.”
