Runergy New Energy has been recognised as an ‘Overall Highest Achiever’ in the latest PV Module Index published by the Renewable Energy Test Center(RETC), following rigorous testing in which the company was among top performers in the areas of quality, performance and reliability.
Runergy achieved an excellent performance in the 7 individual tests included in the three categories. In the Thresher test of quality indicators, its modules scored highly, with only three other companies also recognized. During performance testing, Runergy modules achieved high scores in LeTID and PAN FILE tests while, in terms of reliability, Runergy proved a top performer in all four tests – DH, PID, MLT and TC.
“Though Runergy is a relative newcomer to the PV module sector, it has emerged as an ‘Overall Highest Achiever’ in our 2023 PV Module Index Report. This is an outstanding performance for a company that is new to the Report,” commented RETC president and CEO Cherif Kedir. “Project stakeholders around the world rely on RETC’s beyond-qualification test results to mitigate the technical risks associated with emergent technologies and providers. By excelling in these bankability tests, Runergy has demonstrated a commitment to manufacturing durable and high-performance PV modules. We now look forward to seeing what the company does as an encore to this impressive debut.”
