Sungrow has launched a next-generation microinverter for the Brazilian market at the recently concluded Intersolar South America in São Paulo. Designed for superior reliability, efficiency and ease of use, the S2500S-L is poised to accelerate Brazil’s clean energy transition.
The product delivers a power output of 2.5 kW per unit and, by connecting three units, it is possible to reach 7.5 kW, a limit that falls within Brazil’s fast-track procedure, ensuring simplified technical approval by power distributors. Featuring an innovative topology design, it achieves a power density of 455 W/kg, supporting four independent MPPT inputs with DC input currents of up to 18 A.
The S2500S-L is built to perform well in high year-round temperatures, operating at 45°C without power derating, while its design improves heat dissipation efficiency by 10–15% compared to conventional solutions. The product’s one-click configuration feature allows settings applied to one device to be automatically synced across all devices on the same network, reducing setup time by over 66%.
Leveraging Sungrow’s iSolarCloud intelligent energy management platform, users can also view real-time power generation and health status for each microinverter. The platform additionally supports remote diagnostics and fault resolution, minimizing downtime and maintenance costs.
