Suntech has announced the signing of a framework annual agreement with Rodopi, a significant player in the renewable energy industry with a strong foothold in wind energy, now poised to extend its interests in the solar sector. The partnership signifies a major expansion of Rodopi’s business portfolio, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
Under the terms of the agreement, Suntech will supply Rodopi with an annual 300MW of solar modules, with Kutay Gündogdu, Business Unit Manager at Rodopi Solar, commenting: “We have selected Suntech as our exclusive module supplier due to its professionalism and top quality support.”
The agreement, bringing together an industry stalwart of 22 years with a new entrant to the PV sector, incorporates 12 module types to cater for diverse scenarios, including an ambitious 12MW power station revamp project in Italy.
