Suntech has announced that its TOPCon modules have been awarded French carbon footprint certification, setting a new industry record in the process for domestic supply chain carbon footprint with a value of 376.1kg eq CO2/kWc.
The French market is recognized globally for its strict entry requirements, with its certification being particularly challenging to obtain, tracking the entire process of raw material procurement, production, transportation and emissions.
Going forward, carbon footprint approved products will become a key element for manufacturers to gain an advantage in global markets. Suntech TOPCon modules have consistently maintained a leading position internationally due to the company’s R&D capability and their advanced technological advantages. By the end of this year, Suntech is predicting that the production efficiency of its N-type TOPCon cells could reach 26.5%.
