On July 6, 2020, the China General Certification Center (CGC) issued TBEA New Energy with a qualification certificate for the new national standard for inverters (GB/T 37408 Technical requirements for grid-connected inverters for PV power stations).

This was not the only certificate to be issued to TBEA on this date, with the CGC’s qualification certificate for the new energy standard (NB/T 32004 Technical specification for grid-connected PV inverter) duly renewed, following its initial award in September 2019.  TBEA is therefore the first inverter manufacturer to pass certification testing for both new energy and new national standards by virtue of its 1500V 200KW string inverter products.

The new standard underlines the requirement for indicators in terms of electrical performance and grid stability, especially for active and reactive power and voltage, frequency, harmonic and environmental adaptability of an inverter. In addition, its adoption is to better adapt to the new requirements proposed by the State Grid, the China Southern Power Grid and local power grids for the stability and safety of PV grid connections.

It is the TS208KTL-HV/TS228KTL-HV series that has been awarded the new national standard certification. As the flagship model of the 1500V 200KW string inverter products, it integrates such features as grid friendliness, intelligent bracket control, high-speed PLC communication, IV intelligent curve detection and TB-eCloud intelligent operation and maintenance. It also supports high-power assemblies and an energy storage interface, creating an advance roadmap for the future development of PV power stations and laying a solid foundation for the sustainable and high-quality development of new energy.
