TCL Zhonghuan is participating at the 2026 edition of Renewable Energy India (REI), showcasing a full lineup of high-performance solar products, including high-efficiency silicon wafers, TCL Solar PV modules and BlueArk energy storage solutions.

India’s PV industry has continued to expand in recent years, with domestic solar cell and module manufacturing capacity growing steadily. Demand from utility-scale solar plants, C&I distributed generation, and residential rooftop installations is driving diverse requirements for upstream materials and end products. Meanwhile, high temperatures and dust in some regions, along with salt-laden coastal environments, place greater demands on the electrical performance, mechanical reliability, and environmental adaptability of PV products. In response to these varied market needs, TCL Zhonghuan is presenting its X-series high-efficiency silicon wafers, alongside TCL Solar PV modules and BlueArk energy storage products, showcasing solutions spanning upstream PV materials through power generation and energy storage.

The X-series wafers are among the key highlights of the portfolio. Through optimizations in crystal growth and related manufacturing processes, the series is designed to control impurity levels and improve material properties, supporting downstream high-efficiency solar cell manufacturing.

Wafer electrical properties and mechanical reliability directly affect cell manufacturing performance and finished-product yields, making them important considerations in material selection. With India’s market increasingly focused on power generation efficiency and project economics, X-series wafers are compatible with mainstream high-efficiency cell technologies, including TOPCon, HJT and xBC, offering cell manufacturers additional options for process optimization and performance improvement.

At the exhibition, TCL Solar is displaying two PV modules, the T5 Pro and C2 series, demonstrating different technology approaches and design features for a range of applications.

The T5 Pro features high-density encapsulation technology with a three-section cell design. Under shading conditions, it delivers 17% higher power generation than conventional half-cut modules and has a temperature coefficient of -0.26%/°C. These design features help improve energy yield under partial shading and high-temperature conditions, making the module an option for PV projects in hot and variable climates. Temperature performance, shading tolerance, and environmental adaptability are important considerations for customers evaluating system performance across India’s diverse climate zones.

The TCL Solar C2 module adopts back-contact (BC) technology and a zero-gap design. Its optimized cell layout increases the effective power-generating area while offering low-light performance, shading tolerance, low degradation, and a refined appearance. These design features also help reduce the risk of microcracks during module use. By addressing energy yield, product reliability, and system operating costs, the module provides an option for residential rooftops, C&I distributed generation and utility-scale solar plants.

TCL Solar continues to advance both BC and TOPCon technologies. Its native BC technology, dedicated wafer supply, and broader value-chain capabilities support coordinated product development and manufacturing. By combining different technologies and module designs, the company continues to develop products suited to the needs and applications of the Indian market, helping customers evaluate product options and develop project solutions.

Differences in grid conditions, electricity demand, and energy infrastructure across India create a wide range of energy storage requirements. The TCL BlueArk series is also on display, covering three major application segments: residential and small-scale commercial use, off-grid and microgrid systems and C&I applications.

The BlueArk X1 features an integrated design for residential users and small businesses, with the BlueArk X5 supporting coordinated operation with PV systems and diesel generators, making it suitable for power supply in remote areas and small- to medium-sized industrial parks. The BlueArk W10 uses liquid-cooling technology and AI-powered early-warning capabilities to address the energy management and power supply needs of C&I users. Each product is configured for different power requirements, operating environments, and application scenarios, offering tailored storage options for households, businesses, and industrial and commercial users.

By serving a broad range of applications, the BlueArk series complements solar power generation, helping users improve energy utilization, optimize electricity costs, and manage fluctuations in power supply. Through engagement with industry partners at the exhibition, the company is also gathering insights into local energy storage requirements, product configurations and application conditions.
