As Tongwei reflects on a highly successful participation at All Energy Australia, where its advertising campaign alone gave the impression of a full take-over of the city of Melbourne, it will look back specifically on the focus placed during the event on the advantages of its intelligent manufacturing and advanced module production capacity across its three major bases in the Chinese cities of Yancheng, Jintang and Nantong. The now fully operational Yancheng (25GW) and Jintang (16GW) facilities have already raised Tongwei’s annual production capacity for high-efficiency modules to 55GW.
Among the steps the company has taken to meet downstream customers’ need for more economical, efficient and reliable products include the introduction of high-transmittance glass, light reflective busbars, cross-patterned films and large-sized SMBB rectangular cells, and it is this innovative approach, coupled with intelligent industrial chain management that has made Tongwei an industry leader in such a short period of time since its entry into the module sector in 2022.
