Van Mechelen said: “I’m excited to be part of the Kipp & Zonen team and look forward to continue my contribution in this new role. Next to sales and business development I’m an advocate to strengthen our innovation and product development power and we will further improve our sales and market channels. Kipp & Zonen is well positioned and I expect that the company will continue to be successful in the future.”

The appointment was partially in response to the departure of Foeke Kuik, former CEO and Patrick Akkermans, former COO of the company. The company noted that it was currently looking for a new CEO.
