Manz has terminated the contract of its chief operating officer (COO) Volker Renz by mutual agreement. The decision stems from a difference of opinion between Renz and the management board over the future direction of the company and is effective from September 30.
The identity of Renz’s successor has yet to be decided, although negotiations with several candidates are already taking place. Until a decision is made, COO responsibilities will be shared between they company’s CEO, Dieter Manz, and its chief financial officer, Martin Hipp.
