Project Focus: work starts on 856KW facility at Oceanic’s Mililani Tech Park, Hawaii

Chevron Energy Solutions, Oceanic Time Warner Cable and Tioga Energy have started construction work on a joint venture at Oceanic’s Mililani Tech Park. When completed, the 856KW facility will be the largest solar canopy project on the Hawaiian island of Oahu.

Chevron Energy Solutions are responsible for the design, engineering and construction the project that includes PV panels on two buildings and parking canopies; Tioga Energy will finance and operate the system, while Oceanic Time Warner Cable has signed a 20-year contract to purchases the electricity generated.
