PV Evolution Labs (PVEL) has two new PV performance and reliability laboratories in Northern California located in Berkeley and Davis, California. Lab services at the Berkeley site and outdoor field testing at the Davis facility were initiated in February.

Under a long-term agreement with PV-USA in Davis, PVEL will be able to use five acres of the institutions 90-acre site for energy production measurements and capacity factors in a commercially operating power plant. Additionally, PVEL’s lab and office space in Berkeley has an 11,000 square foot outdoor yard area for the company’s performance testing.
