Solar FlexRack signs supply deal with Swinerton for 26.4MW PV project

Solar FlexRack, a division of Northern States Metals and PV mounting and solar tracker solutions company, has completed a contract to supply a 26.4MW solar installation for Swinerton Renewable Energy. 

Swinerton will serve as the project's engineering, procurement, and construction company. The Tobacco Valley solar project, located in Simsbury, Connecticut, will be installed with Solar FlexRack's Series G3-X fixed tilt solution, which is known for its performance in challenging climates.

Construction is already underway, with the Tobacco Valley solar project scheduled for completion in 2019. In total, the project is expected to generate enough energy to power 6,800 homes and create over 300 construction jobs.
