Macy’s Goodyear, Arizona online fulfillment center is modeling a new 3.5MW rooftop solar power system. SunPower designed and installed the solar project, which features a SunPower T5 Solar Roof Tile system, and will continue to support the center with operations and maintenance services.

“We applaud Macy's for its leadership in environmental sustainability and corporate responsibility,” said Jim Pape, president of SunPower's residential and commercial business group. “As a SunPower customer since 2007, Macy's understands the guaranteed performance delivered by solar technology, and the bottom line benefits it reliably generates.”

Macy’s new solar installation is anticipated to generate 70% of the facility’s energy demands.
