Solar trade show Solar Power International (SPI) has been cancelled due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Ida on New Orleans, where the event was scheduled to take place later this month.

Solar Power International, the US’ largest solar and energy storage exhibition, has been rearranged for 21 – 22 October 2020 amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

In the absence of live events and exhibitions this summer, the solar PV and energy storage supply chains have adopted online and virtual events to ramp up marketing activity.

SNEC 2020 will now take place from 10 – 12 October 2020 and at a new venue, the exhibition’s organisers have confirmed.

This year’s edition of SNEC – the world’s largest solar trade exhibition – has been postponed, the event’s organizing committee has confirmed.
