American Steel and Aluminum (ASA, which produces US-made solar foundations, has opened a new facility in Syracuse, New York.

For a seventh consecutive quarter, US solar PV tracker manufacturer Nextracker has had a sequential growth in its backlog which sits at over US$4.5 billion.

The new foundation system product further expands on Nextracker's foot in the business after the recent acquisitions of Ojjo and Solar Pile International.

This is the second acquisition in a little bit over a month for Nextracker after the acquisition of US-based solar foundation company Ojjo.
