Solar developer Move ON Energy has commenced commercial operation of Europe’s largest solar PV park in Germany.

Shell Energy Europe has signed a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with German insurance company Signal Iduna's subsidiary Hansainvest Real Assets to secure 600MW of capacity from a solar project.

Firm raises €23m (US$25.67m) subordinated loan from Hansainvest Real Assets to support 85 solar installations, with plans to add new projects.
