TerniEnergia installs 23MW of PV in Greece in Q4 2012

Italian renewable energy firm TerniEnergia installed eight PV plants in Greece in the fourth quarter of 2012 which have a combined capacity of 23.1 MWp.

The plants were constructed for several unnamed European utilities.

This means that the company has installed a total of 19 PV plants in Greece in 2012 with a combined capacity of 55.8MWp, of which 0.7MWp is 100% owned by the renewable energy firm.

Moreover, TerniEnergia revealed that there was an increase in the average capacity of the installed PV projects. In 2011 the average PV capacity installed for each plant was 1.75MWp. This figure rose to 2.9MWp in 2012.
