Trina Solar inks deal with Kerself to supply 73MW of PV modules for Italian, European markets

Trina Solar has signed a sales agreement with the Kerself Group, one of Italy’s leading photovoltaic solar plant engineering, development, production, installation, and distribution companies. Under the terms of the deal, the Chinese solar manufacturer will supply Kerself with approximately 73MW of crystalline-silicon PV modules, with shipment deliveries of 23MW slated in the fourth quarter of this year, and further shipments of 25MW expected in each of the first two quarters of 2010.

Kerself chairman/CEO Pier Angelo Masselli said that the group “seeks to position itself as a primary photovoltaic group within and outside the EU, we are excited to partner with a well-recognized brand like Trina Solar to bring their high quality modules and premium service to our customers across Italy and throughout Europe.”

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
