Larsen & Toubro wins 115MW of EPC contracts for South India solar projects

L&T Construction, the power transmission and distribution arm of Indian multinational Larsen & Toubro, has won contracts for the EPC of 115MW of solar power projects in southern India.

This will bring the company’s totalled installed capacity of solar plants to 643MW.

The firm won INR13.76 billion (US$210 million) worth of orders for its services in the domestic and international markets in September this year.

Among other services, for renewable energy projects, the firm provides turnkey EPC services for projects on PV and CSP power plants.
