Suntech Power Holdings is launching a new 245W module designed specifically for Europe’s residential and small-scale rooftop installation market. The 60-cell mono-crystalline STP245S-20/Wd is the latest addition to Suntech’s module range and boasts 14.8% efficiency and a three bus-bar design.

“Responding to the popularity of the 60-cell layout, the new Wd mono module is the logical next step in the evolution of our six-inch cell modules. The superior fill factor is valuable for all applications, but is particularly well suited to small commercial and residential installations where it offers higher performance and lower balance of system costs,” Vedat Gürgeli, Suntech’s vice president of European sales and marketing, said.
