Owned by solar asset manager, Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) the solar power plant is located south of Canberra, Australia and covers almost 50 hectares and will power 4,500 Australian homes.

Acciona Energy Oceania carried out engineering and construction, module manufacturer, JinkoSolar supplied modules for the plant, and solar PV structure manufacturer Mecasolar supplied the fixed structure.

The Royalla Solar Farm uses 20 of Ingeteam’s 1MW PowerMax inverters, installed inside ten medium voltage power stations.

“We have every confidence that many more plants will be developed in this country, which has tremendous potential in the field of renewable energies, and PV solar energy in particular,” said Juan Miguel Gutiérrez, managing director of Ingeteam's Australian subsidiary, who was also present at the opening.
