Canadian Solar offers 250W integrated microinverter AC module

Having only launched its first AC module with its in-house developed microinverter at last October’s Solar Power International expo in the US, Canadian Solar has released its next generation offering employing higher performing modules.

The company said that its ‘ResidentialAC’ module system is available in a 250W power rating format, up from 215W when launched last year.

According to Canadian Solar the next generation integrated microinverter’s can be used with higher power class modules up to 300W and operates in high temperature environments above 65(o)C.

“This new architecture represents a breakthrough from existing AC solutions and a significant improvement from all first generation products, offering our customers measurable value.” commented Dr. Shawn Qu, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Solar.   

The company has retained the 25-year warranty available for both the microinverter and module.

Canadian Solar's ResidentialAC system includes monitoring software for module-level performance tracking and optimisation.
