COLEXON continues with efforts to streamline business

Following a disappointing financial performance in 2011, COLEXON Energy to streamline its business continues. The company has sold two further solar project companies in southern Germany and Italy.

Renewagy, 55 PV installations in 29 locations in Germany with a nominal output of 4.5MW, was bought by Belgian-based solar power producer 7C Solarparken N.V. headquartered in Mechelen. Both parties have agreed to not to divulge the sale price.

An Italian utility company bought the PV installation in Italy with a nominal output of 1MW. Antitrust approval for the transaction is expected in the coming month. Both parties have also agreed not to divulge the sale price.

Following these transactions, COLEXON maintains a portfolio of German core projects with a nominal output of 23.2MW in total, bundled in seven project companies, as well as core projects in Italy with a nominal output of 5MW in total, partially bundled in a local joint venture.
