US energy giant Dominion has added another 50MW to its solar portfolio with the purchase of its first project in Utah.
The Pavant Solar farm, yet to be constructed, was purchased from juwi solar.

“Solar energy is the key component of Dominion's growth in renewable generating capacity. We are delighted to expand our solar footprint into Utah,” said David A. Christian, CEO, Dominion Generation.
It has a 20-year power purchase agreement and interconnection deal. JSI Construction has been awarded the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract.
Dominion now has 324MW of solar in development, construction or operation in six states. Its subsidiary Dominion Virginia Power also a number of solar projects in its books through its leasing programme.
