Global Solar Energy is getting help from new local Japanese partners as it expands its presence in the country. CBC, Eco Holdings and OG have partnered with Global Solar and will help the company in its offering of its new design of the PowerFLEX BIPV system, which was adapted for specific use on rooftops in Japan.

The PowerFLEX BIPV module is said to hold 12.6% aperture efficiency and relies on its 300W format to help quell installation and BOS costs. Global Solar has already supplied its PowerFLEX system in Japan, notably in the 400kW rooftop system on the Yokosuka Naval Base.
