Spanish utility Iberdrola has signed a financing agreement worth €1 billion (US$1.08 billion) with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to build 19 solar power plants and three onshore wind farms in Europe.
Independent power producer (IPP) AMPYR Solar Europe has secured a €200 million (US$215 million) framework project finance facility with Dutch bank Rabobank.
All developers active in the US market will increase their renewable energy development, while over 60% will participate in domestic clean energy manufacturing buildout.
Solar and storage investor CleanCapital has secured a US$500 million investment from Manulife, a global financial services group. This followed a US$300 million initial cash injection from Manulife in 2021.
