US renewable energy developer, Longroad Energy, announced financial close of 111MWdc solar and 85MWac/340MWh storage project Sun Pond in Maricopa County, Arizona, 4 December.
Australia’s Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) has revealed that large-scale solar PV capital costs have fallen by 8% in Australia for the second year running.
Power from the project, which is under construction, will be sold to PGE under a 25-year contract and marketed through its Green Future Impact (GFI) scheme.
