DAS Solar has announced a strategic cooperation agreement with Q Energy France for the supply of 75MW of its high-efficiency modules for a floating PV (FPV) project currently under construction on the site of a former quarry in the country’s Haute-Marne region which, once completed, will be Europe’s largest project of its type.
DAS Solar already has experience in the floating PV sector, having supplied modules for a 650MW project at Fuyang, China, covering an area over 2,141.5 acres, making it currently the largest FPV system anywhere in the world.
