As the global energy transition moves from capacity growth to quality growth, solar plants are being asked to deliver more than nameplate output. Developers, investors and grid operators now expect stronger grid compatibility, higher long-term energy yield, and more predictable asset performance over the full project lifecycle.

Huawei Digital Power hasannounced the upcoming launch of its new FusionSolar9.0 Smart PV Solution from March. Designed for utility-scale and large commercial and industrial (C&I) applications, the solution features the industry-leading SUN2000-506K smart string high-power inverter and the new generation 3/7/11MW smart transformer station (STS).

The new solution delivers three key advantages: the industry’s first kV AC solution, first grid-forming smart string inverter and maximum 11MW PV array, based on five core value pillars:

– Higher energy yield potential through more refined string-level intelligence and control;
– Stronger grid-forming/grid-support readiness to improve performance under high-renewable grid conditions;
– Enhanced reliability for demanding environments, including heat, humidity, dust and salt-mist exposure;
– Smarter O&M experience with digital diagnostics and data-driven maintenance capabilities;
– System-level value optimisation across design, commissioning, operation, and long-term asset management.

Huawei Digital Power will also continue to strengthen local technical support and lifecycle service capabilities to help partners accelerate project execution with greater confidence.

Starting from March, the solution will be introduced progressively across relevant countries.
