JA Solar has been awarded the EcoVadis silver medal for its exceptional sustainability performance, according to a recently released EcoVadis report.
Achieving its highest ever score of 62 points in the assessment, the company has stood out among over 75,000 companies across more than 200 industries worldwide.
JA Solar has set medium-and-long term strategic goals for sustainable development, aiming to reduce the total greenhouse gas emissions within its operating scope by 42% by 2030 and achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Under this blueprint, JA Solar takes “Together Towards Tomorrow” as its mantra and carries out multi-party actions to address uncertainties and challenges in the areas of environment, society and governance.
