JinkoSolar has announced the opening of a new office in Italy, located in the city of Padova.
With the company’s stated objective to be totally powered by renewable energy by 2025, this new office has particular relevance, following an agreement with EGO Energy, an Italian trading organisation specializing in the management and commercialization of energy from renewable sources through PPAs, which will result in it being powered exclusively by renewable energy.
EGO Energy founder and director Stefano Cavriani commented: “We are delighted to be cooperating with a world-leading player in the renewables industry, supplying certified green energy produced by new market-parity plants, actively managing the solar-PV production on the market. Our goal is always to match renewable energy production with the final customer’s needs, ensuring both parties the best conditions, both for short and long-term contracts. This is really the new approach needed to allow the renewable generation to play a decisive role in the market, in accordance with the new EU Market Design.”
