Trina Solar has announced that its Vertex S+ 505W (NEG18R.28) module has entered mass production at its factory in Changzhou. As part of the Vertex S+ series specifically designed for commercial and industrial rooftops, the product made its European debut at the Genera event in Madrid this week.
The Vertex S+ 505W, featuring higher power yet lower BOS and LCOE, is tailored to meet the core customer requirement of shorter payback time. Combining n-type i-TOPCon technology with 210mm rectangular silicon wafer (210R) cell technology, the dual-glass module has a power output of up to 505W and an efficiency of 22.7%.
Vertex S+ series modules have been welcomed by both partners and customers in the non-utility sector and the mass production of the 505W product will now guarantee timely delivery globally, including to the key markets of Europe, Australia and Asia-Pacific.
