Order Focus: Ingeteam provides 1MW solution in Maryland, US

Electricity engineer, and inverter manufacturer Ingeteam has supplied 1MW of its ‘Ingecon Sun PowerStation’ solution to a 1.2MW PV project.

The project came online in September at Glen Arm, Maryland in the US.

According to Ingeteam, the Sun PowerStation is comprised of two Ingecon Sun PowerMax U inverters, a step up transformer, switchgear, low voltage distribution panels, auxiliary transformers and monitoring equipment.

The Sun PowerStation solution’s max efficiency is 98.6%, with output power of up to 880kW, according to the company.

The Sun PowerStation was manufactured in Ingeteam’s production facility in Milwaukee and was specifically developed for the North American market, including UL 1741 certification.
