Jinko Solar has become the latest module manufacturer to have its modules certified by the Japan Electrical Safety & Environmental Technology Laboratories (JET).
The JET certificates will enable the company to take advantage of the burgeoning market in Japan.

Yingli Green, CNPV and ReneSola have all announced approval from JET for their PV modules in 2013.
The introduction of a feed-in tariff (FiT) has triggered a surge in applications for projects in Japan.
Last month PV Tech reported exclusively that the country is considering possible action, including cancelling FiT approval for projects that had not broken ground.
Some developers are suspected of delaying construction in order to maximise the benefit of falling PV equipment costs. The potential penalties would only be for those companies found to have delayed work intentionally.
