Tier-one PV module manufacturer JinkoSolar has supplied 33.67MW of PV modules to Chilean renewable energy company Rijn Capital for the San Pedro III PV Plant Phase I project in Chile.
The project, located south of Calama in the Antofagasta region of Northern Chile, was completed and connected to the grid in April and will produce around 100GWh of electricity per year. It will use 110,400 JinkoSolar PV modules.

The project secured US$104 million long-term financing from local commercial bank CorpBanca, while Portuguese utility EFACEC provided engineering, procurement and construction services.
Rijn Capital , established by Dutch investment company Rijn Capital BV, has 500MW of PV projects under development in Chile.
