KDG Energy manufactures solar modules for China Sunergy

French PV module manufacturer KDG Energy has begun the production of China Sunergy’s modules in France. The two companies have entered a memorandum of understanding in 2011, stating that China Sunergy (CSUN) will provide components for solar modules that KDG Energy will manufacture under CSUN’s brand name. KDG Energy officially commenced production of the modules in mid March 2011.


The products are referred to as CSUN Made in France and guarantee that testing, lamination and the string of cells have been conducted in France.
The first of these modules have recently been delivered to Paris-based PV developer and plant operator Akuo Energy.

Mr. Stephen Cai, China Sunergy's CEO commented: “France has always been an important market for us. KDG Energy is well recognized as a high quality, high-tech manufacturer of photovoltaic panels in France. We expect our cooperation with KDG Energy will allow China Sunergy to further develop its business in France and help China Sunergy position itself as a preferred supplier in the entire European market.”
