A new mid-term module supply deal has been struck between S.A.G. Solarstrom and Yingli Green regarding the Chinese manufacturers most advanced modules using its ‘Panda’ technology. According to the S.A.G. Solarstrom, the majority of contracted modules in the 220MWp deal relate to Panda technology-based modules through to 2013. The modules will be used across Europe on planned projects, S.A.G. Solarstrom said.

“Thanks to their excellent product quality and reliability, Yingli is one of our most preferred system partners,” noted Dr. Karl Kuhlmann, CEO of S.A.G. Solarstrom AG. “The now secured volume of high-quality modules, in addition to the quota that we negotiate with other suppliers, is an important step for us towards implementing our planned growth over the next few years.”
