QuantaSol welcomes Ian Jenks as chairman and board member

Ian Jenks has been elected as the newest member to QuantaSol’s board of director’s where he will also serve as chairman. Jenks has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry for companies in the US and Europe.

“QuantaSol is pioneering unique, world beating CPV solar cells that will deliver breakthrough performance improvements and enable the market for this new, lower-cost renewable electricity generating technology to take off and thrive. I look forward to making use of my experience in the company’s key markets to help drive QuantaSol’s growth and commercial success as the company transitions from a start-up developer to revenue generating company,” stated Jenks.

Jenks has served on the board of Altitun, CoreOptics, Crystal Photonics, Digilens, Novalux, Oplink, Symmorphix, Zolo Technologies and Intune Networks. He was previously President of the Laser and Fiber Optic groups of Uniphase and a general partner for VC firm Crescendo Ventures.
