Senersun announced that it had officially become a member of The European Centre for the Recycling of Solar Energy (CERES), joining several other EU-based solar companies. CERES is a non-profit association, which aims to create a voluntary commitment take-back program for the PV community.

Alexandre Minuzzo, Senersun’s CEO, commented on the company’s new membership, stating, “As a European company involved in  renewable energies, we strive to make solar panels a real long-term solution for the production of clean electricity, be it at a small or a larger scale. The recycling of solar panels will play a considerable part in solar energy’s ability to prove its environmental-friendliness in the coming years and it was for us a priority to show our commitment to participate to that process. Being a non-for-profit association created under the French law, CERES proved to be the best solution for us, with their proximity to Senersun’s core markets and a desire to remain independent.”
