Siegfried Yi Chou Hsu is new CFO of China Sunergy

China Sunergy announced that, effective immediately, Siegfried Yi Chou Hsu, will be the company’s new Chief Financial Officer while Shiliang Guo, the company’s current acting CFO, has resigned from the position and will remain as a director.

Hsu brings vast amounts of finance, investment, consulting and technological experience to the position, which he gained through past positions that included CFO of Smart Net Technology, VP of Phycos Consulting and the Investment and Investor Relationship Manager for United Microelectronics Corporation. Hsu’s most recent position saw him as the VP of structured finance and a chief advisor of the investment committee for China investment strategy at the China Development Industry Bank. He was mainly responsible for the enterprise consolidation and restructuring, cross Taiwan Straits initiatives and ASEAN region investment and government projects.

Hsu received his BA of Science in Electro Physics from the National Chiao Tung University and an MBA degree from National Taiwan University. He also completed an MBA program from the Sloan Fellows Program of MIT’s Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.
