“The Solairedirect group shares our vision to develop projects that not only move the renewables industry forward but that also supports our community partners,” said Ryan Creamer, CEO, sPower. “The Adera facility will provide local jobs and economic benefits while supporting a sustainable future for the area.”
In Chile, Solairedirect will design and build 72MW across two projects in the Atacama desert. Construction is expected to start in the final quarter of 2015. Both the Denersola and Canto del Agua projects will use Abantia tracker systems.
The company did not provide details of the Chile projects’ offtakers.
In April 2015 Solairdirect delayed a planned IPO after interest fell short of expectations.
