SolarCity has appointed Dan Foster as its new vice president of sales. Foster will be in charge of SolarCity’s national sales division and will report to report to CEO Lyndon Rive.

Foster joins SolarCity from IP communications services provider MegaPath where he helped increase annual revenues from US$5 million to US$500 million during his time as executive vice president of sales. Prior to joining at MegaPath, Foster served as president and CEO of broadband provider Phoenix Networks and was a partner at management consultants Analysis Group.
