China based monocrystalline silicon solar ingots and wafers manufacturer, Solargiga Energy Holdings’ 300kW pilot BIPV project has commenced power generation successfully.
The project, located in Binhai New District, Jinzhou, is constructed by Jinzhou Jinmao Photovoltaic Technology, subsidiary of Solargiga. The project is expected to have an annual power generating capacity of 420,000kWh. The structure comprises of various PV technologies, including a BIPV power generating system, solar roof BIPV system, thin-film BIPV system and solar road lighting. The total investment of the project is amounted to RMB12 million.
