Sunrise Global Solar has also had modules using its CELCO cell design verified by TÜV Rheinland with electrical output power greater than 280 watts.

DuPont’s ‘Solamet’ PV36X series aluminium paste was used on the rear-side of the cells, which the company said had exhibited strong resistance to potential induced degradation (PID).

“Our collaboration with Sunrise Global Solar Energy has yielded excellent results,” said Peter Brenner, Photovoltaics Global Marketing Manager for DuPont Microcircuit Materials.  “This successful commercialisation of high performance solar cells, when coupled with the right materials, continues to lower the cost of producing electricity with solar energy.”
